"Smif-N-Wessun is one, Tek and Steele is plural. one of the few alive to have our face on the mural" -Steele of Smif-N-Wessun

20 year music partners and Hip Hop Icons Smif-N-Wessun, premier new music live on NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts. The new single "One Time" is off their forthcoming album "The All" and is produced by 9th Wonder and The Soul Council.

Steele described performing the single with a live band as a spiritual experience. He added the way the band channels the duo's emotion is like catching the "Holy Ghost." Tek admitted to feeling nervous about the performance. Nerves and all the two performed "One Time" with The Black-Alley Band and the spectacle demonstrated their flawless chemistry.

The lyrics epitomize the Bucktown brotherhood of Tek and Steele. "God vision is pure when your lyrics too authentic you don't get no awards/ I ain't talking about no magazines we in the Source/ When you're married to our team there wont' be no divorce/ That's something you never do/ Let's get it on for the fam and the revenue/ after the song hope the fans remember you"

The duo also performed their breakout single, now anthem, "Bucktown" and the fallen street soldier anthem "Stand Strong". Both records were released off the classic album "Dah Shinin" released in 1995.
